Is it possible that a Drive with Win7 dont allows you to Clone it? I did all like you did in your Video, but? at the Boot of Win7 it boots about for 10sec. and then shutdown>boot again (10-15sec.) and again shutdown.....what did I made wrong?

Another piece of garbage! Did the drive-to-drive copy to an identical drive on an external enclosure, swapped drives, rebooted and got errors. XXCLONE is best but it currently does not support windows 7.?

I have two identical drives (size) - my C with ALL my OS files, data, pics music, etc... Can I use this utility to make my extra drive (E in this instance) an exact clone so I can just swap cables and boot up? I was able to do it with XXCLONE, but it? does not support Windows7, which I updated to.

Very nicely done - a perfect adjunct to the program's GUI. One question - where is the volume shadow services filesystem copy stored, and is it a complete copy of the filesystem, or is the shadowing done piecemeal as the backup proceeds? If it is a complete copy, then it won't fit on the drive being backed up unless that drive is less than 50% full, and it won't fit on the destination location drive if that drive doesn't have enough space for both the VSS filesystem? copy and the backup files.

how big will the back up be? (like half the hard drive? or etc.) if i put the back up in my thumbdrive then update my comp to windows 7 and re-download it i get all my old files back right?

im replaceing a 30g ...
im replaceing a 30g hd with a 500g pata hd on my dell so i guess i have to install it and then reformat but i dont want to lose my data ans settings because i already did i reformat not to long ago so my question is how do i put my data stuff on cd instead of putting it into my computer? because? im replaceing my hard drive not adding one:P

Don't bother with this crappy software! Use Ghost, Acronis, Clonezilla, or FOG. Tech support staff is rude and unprofessional. Not to mention the software has severe limitations. If you like screwing yourself then this is the software for you. Sorry I just have to tell? everyone the truth!

It's a pretty well presented demonstration. It would be better if the demo covered the feature that is likely the? most valuable: "Drive to Drive", i.e. cloning one hard drive to another without making an image file in between.

A crucial step, as buried in the text that comes with DriveImage: "If your drive still does not boot you can try to set a new "Disk ID". Windows remembers old drive letter assignments which can cause problems when trying to boot from a cloned drive. You can force the removal of old drive letter assignments by setting a new Disk ID. Click Tools->Set new Disk? ID and read the instructions."

Okay, I appreciate your idea, but the video needs to be edited badly. Nobody wants? to watch a video that is mostly dead time. For youtube videos it's a great idea to be concise.
